Besides didactics I am engaged in radiospectroscopic investigation of matter. In particular I worked on the influence of substituents and intermolecular interactions on the conformation and electronic structure of radicals of biologically active compounds such as vitamins, steroids, bacteriostatic and organometallic complexes. In the course of my work I participated in constructing a few EPR spectrometers.
I am the author of an original computer method for enhancement of spectral resolution of EPR and ENDOR spectra. The method has been successfully used at our Institute, in particular for the studies of complexes biologically active compounds. This computer method was also applied to diagnosis of cardiac muscle ischaemia:
